Virtual Weatherman™ TightVNC Installation FAQs

Q. How  Do I Install TightVNC? A. It's easy. If downloaded as part of the Virtual Weatherman™, the TightVNC installation package is included. Click on the Virtual Weatherman™ download, choose 'open' and when the download completes, the installer will load automatically. CHoose 'Finish'. When done, the VW™ installer will ask if you want to install TightVNC™. Choose 'Yes'.  If downloading TightVNC seperately, choose 'Open' and the TightVNC installer will load directly. Either way, follow  the prompts. Installation takes only a few  seconds. Then, run the TightVNC server from its folder. You'll need to set a password for us to access the server when needed and provide that to us in advance along with the machine's public IP address.  If your system is behind a router or firewall, see this FAQ for additional setup details.
